It’s been rough lately, hasn’t it?

For what seems like the thousandth time, we’ve had to change plans because of either a Covid surge, a sudden issue resulting in a financial drain, work issues, or health.

And we’re not alone in this. It seems that everyone I know is tired of having to battle their way through each day.

I just want to say that I appreciate your perseverance. I appreciate you.

I think you’re a superstar for getting up every morning even though you’ve been facing discouragement and that you’re just plain exhausted all of the time.

You’re a superstar because you keep on going and living even when you’re not sure how anymore. That when things are confusing or disappointing, that you keep going. That you have that faith in yourself and that you trust in tomorrow.

You’re a superstar for fighting depression. For not letting it consume you. You’re a superstar for pushing back and pushing through. You’re a superstar for being there the next day.

Ready to do it all over again.

These are strange days. Sure, they’ve been strange before, and they’ll be strange again.

But what we’ve all been experiencing lately will pass, and we will come out stronger for it and as a better community.
