You Are a Source of Inspiration

Recite these words and you’ll respect yourself more.

Don’t see yourself as a nobody. Don’t see yourself as just ‘successful’. See yourself as an inspiration. When you look at yourself, look at yourself as an inspiration. You didn’t get where you are by luck you got there by hard work. You give hope to others who may not know how or what to do.

You have accomplished things that others around you have not. You have had experiences that others have not. You’ve started things that others wish they had.

You need to give yourself a break. Take this moment to accept who you are and how far you have come. Stand tall as you recite the following. Make these statements and honor yourself.

I’m here today, but I almost didn’t make it. My family struggled with this, but I overcame it. They told me that, but I chose this instead. I have income today because I worked for it. Nobody gave it to me. I slept every night and woke up every morning to days that were both good and bad.

When you see me, you see inspiration. I came from the town I came from, with the family I had. I lived in the house I lived in. I used the things that were available to me. I went to school and experienced good and bad things. I laughed, and I cried. I grew into the person I am based on the life I lived with the resources I had. Friends came and went, as did material possessions. I had struggles and difficulties. There were some things that were easy, and I had some fun times too.

I am here today because I didn’t allow others to suffocate me to death with their thoughts or opinions about me. I am here today but I almost didn’t make it. I am here today because I fought to stay focused and stay on track.

I exist. I am here today because I am an inspiration.

Key Message: Don’t let anything stop you from being you. You were created with your personality for a reason. You have so much to offer.
