When you identify yourself with the past.

You remain stuck in it.

When you identify yourself with the future.

You become it.

If you want to reach your next evolution:

Stop looking where you came from.

Start looking where you’re going.

Here’s EXACTLY how I’m doing it.

One of the first things I ever learned when I started driving was this piece of wisdom:

Focus your eyes in the direction the car is going, if you’re not going backwards stop looking at the rear-view mirror.

If you try to drive while starring at the mirror the whole time…

A. You probably won’t get very far.

B. You’re much more likely to get off track or crash

If you’ve noticed you’ve been trying to change but constantly fall back into old behaviors, I’d argue it’s probably because of what I just said.

So what’s the solution?

Stop defining yourself by what you’ve DONE.

Start defining yourself by what you’re GOING TO DO.

Here’s the exact steps to take to do that.

Step #1. Determine what your ideal future self looks like

Alright so it’s 2025, what does your life look like?

What are the three biggest things future you has in this ideal world?

For me it’s this:

  • A 10/10 body.
  • A Thriving Online Business.
  • A happy, healthy relationship with a beautiful woman.

Okay after you write down the three biggest things in your future, let’s move to step 2.

Step #2. Determine how future you BEHAVED to get those things.

Determine how future you achieved that.

For example:

How did future me get a 10/10 body?
