Writing with Love: Transform Our Scars into Valuable Stories
Let’s own our vulnerable stories and share about our transformation with the world.

As I have found, choosing to tell our personal vulnerable stories depends on the willingness to be authentic.
It calls for the removal of our mask, an act of courage to face our fears and an expose of our hidden embarrassing secrets.
What is interesting is that as soon as we think we have found ourselves through our story…but no…there are more layers to uncover, aspects that we have previously left behind and wounds that have not healed.
It happens when we give ourselves the permission to fully explore the inner landscape of our feelings.
It happens because we have chosen to invest in a journey of self-discovery, — in a bid to see ourselves more clearly.
We claim authenticity by revealing our shame to the world, and ironically in the morning after, we sometimes shame ourselves for doing so.
A dismantling of sorts ensues as we discover who we are not. And then eventually building ourselves up with self-love and acceptance; so that with each forward step we take, we find ourselves one step closer to wholeness.
Let us own our vulnerable stories. They contain our tears, anguish, sorrow and pain. At the same time, they are also transformed by hope, acceptance, forgiveness and love. The divine lessons in them are there for us to gracefully integrate. We transform our scars into valuable stories that we can share with the world. xx Evelyn
