The Witch’s Secret

A normal, little penguin lives in a magical world filled with witches, wizards, and other magical creatures. It’s a normal penguin, but is anything but average. This penguin, Pengu, has a patented collar around his neck to speak his thoughts to others- a miracle of modern science!
One night, the penguin accidentally breaks a spell. She didn’t mean to, but her instinct to hunt for fishes got the best of her. The spell was a simple conjuration spell, intended to bring forth the fairy Galais to bless the land and share her secrets with the magical community. Unfortunately, Galais requires a bushel of fish for her summoning- Pengu’s one and only weakness!
Immediately, everything starts to go wrong — the witches start falling sick and losing their powers, the wizards can no longer control their own spells, and the animals start acting out of control. The conjuration turned inwards, setting pure fae energy against the surrounding area.
Witches scramble to collect more fish, as an offering to quell the forces at play. And Pengu… well, Pengu carries on as if nothing happened.
This was written in Koala Quill, using a prompt it generated. Here is the prompt:
