Writing Challenge: What Songs And Movies Define You?
Two groovy writing prompts for pop culture lovers
Happy 2022, fellow human beings (and any animals or aliens from outer space who might somehow be reading this!)
I’m starting the year off in POP (Plethora Of Pop) with two writing challenges. Here are the prompts for them:
- Write about 5 songs that would help people get to know you better.
- Write about 5 movies that would help people get to know you better.
The songs and movies can be favorites of yours or ones that you feel some sort of special connection to for one reason or another.
Also, if you feel like doing more than 5 each for them — go for it! Do whatever makes you happy.
This was inspired by a recent article I wrote called 10 TV Shows That Define Me — So Blame Them! After reading it, my friends and fellow pop culture lovers Kiki Wellington and Reg Williams suggested continuing the theme and doing additional challenges related to music and movies. Thanks, Kiki and Reg!
If you’re going to do these challenges, you can share them here in Plethora Of Pop or wherever else you want to. Just please tag me in your story so that I can read whatever you write.
