Writing Isn’t A Hobby Anymore

It became a job.

For writing on Medium, consistency, a routine, and a designated time are very important, as well as a writing zone, where I can sit down and put pen to paper — with a smile on my face.

For me, writing bears repeating over and over again. Every. Single. Day!

As Jessica Lynn states in her latest post, I also started to treat my writing on Medium as a job even if it’s only for 15 minutes.

I don't deviate from my writing zone often — except when I’m on holiday.

Currently, I’m in the German Hamptons to take some rewind time.

After I put my baby to bed in the evening, instead of sitting at the kitchen table, I’m sitting in a ‘beachbasket’ watching rabbits hopping through the garden until it’s getting dark.

Do you treat your writing as a job too?
