Conceptual Edit

The first draft of any piece of writing is often a raw outpouring of ideas, emotions, and creativity. The conceptual edit is the initial phase where the writer steps back and takes a holistic view. It involves evaluating the structure, themes, and overall narrative flow.

During this stage, writers assess the clarity of their central ideas, the development of characters, and the coherence of the plot. Gestation
