Writers, we got it made in the shade.
Let’s take away our computers and whip out the typewriter and paper. We are so lucky!
I learned to type on a beast like this. My mom told me that I should take a typing class in high school because if I was ever in a pinch, I could be a secretary. I agreed, but secretly thought, “I’m gonna have a secretary.”
I did sit next to my boyfriend in typing class, we passed notes, but got an “A”.
Medium Writers. Can we give props… To the photographers, and just say thank you.
While we writers write, those talented folks have such a gift. They have an eye for beauty.
So truly… Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
In my articles, I mostly use photos from Pexels.com or Unsplash.com. The photos are free so we can publish them
Free is good. I give them a credit with a link of course. Subscribe and follow them.
They all have an option to donate, so when I make some more money I will donate and it will let them know you appreciate their talent.
Exposure. Sharing photos on Unsplash can give significant exposure for a freelance business or personal work. You can donate to the photographer.
Pexels has a similar system where the downloader is invited to “say thanks” to the photographer by making a donation via PayPal. Pexels hosts “challenges” to encourage creators to add to its library by uploading images on specified subjects. Can photographers earn money on Unsplash?
Again from donations or by selling the images to those that contact the photographer for higher resolution images than you uploaded.
The same goes for Pexels. You can buy the images from the photographer at a higher resolution than you uploaded.
Again, Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, photographers!
