“The Left Is Right” Is Looking For New Writers And Article Submissions

“The Left Is Right” is a publication for people who have left leaning beliefs and points of view. It’s for people who want to publish articles about politics and hope to reach a wider audience.

Submission Guidelines

I don’t have to agree with your article in order to publish it. While I am liberal and a democrat, I don’t agree with everything every other left leaning person believes in. Some have more extreme beliefs than me and some lean more moderate.

You just have to follow a few rules in order for your article to be published.

Here are the rules:

  1. No hate speech against groups of people (like LGBTQ+, disabled, minorities, women, etc.) or other members on Medium.
  2. Follow all medium rules and guidelines. Anyone writing articles violating the terms of service will have their articles rejected.
  3. Try to keep your grammar and typos to a minimum. If your article has too many mistakes or doesn’t make sense when I read it, then I will reject it, although some typos and mistakes are understandable. We are all just human, after all.
  4. Have private messages on. I may ask you to edit your article or do some light editing before I approve your article. Please be prepared to fix anything that I request that you fix.
  5. Understand that most things you want to write about are welcome. Rants are welcome. Complaining about certain politicians or celebrities is welcome. Critiquing parts of society or poetry is fine. Just make sure everything is left leaning. No right wing leaning articles will be approved. This is a left wing publication!
  6. Only submit articles that are drafts. Don’t submit articles that have already been published.

Submission Time

It may take me up to two weeks to publish your article if you follow all these rules, although I will try to be more prompt than that. Hopefully I will be able to publish everyone within forty-eight hours, but I don’t know yet because this is the first publication I’ve opened to other people as an editor.
