***THIS PUBLICATION IS CLOSED TO NEW WRITERS AS OF 1/15/2024 UNTIL MY LIFE GETS IN ORDER***

Narcissists can be anyone: your parent, your partner, your friend, or your neighbor. It’s an issue all of us will likely have to deal with eventually with someone.

This publication is a place to talk about your experiences with narcissists and to post tips on how to deal with narcissists (how to spot them, how to get away from them, the kinds of things they do, etc.)

If you’d like to write for us then please follow the publication and post your username with the @ symbol in the comments below. I will add you some time within two weeks after you request it. If I somehow miss you, then feel free to ask again.

Also, make sure to follow the rules of the publication when submitting articles:

  1. Submit drafts only, not published stories.
  2. Your stories must be legible (grammar and spelling) and communicate your thoughts well. If we can’t understand what you’re trying to say then we can’t publish it. We are willing to fix typos that we spot though.
  3. No victim blaming.
  4. No defending narcissists. That’s not what this publication is for.
  5. Do not tell people to forgive their abusers. Survivors get harassed enough about this as it is.
  6. Do not try to spread false information about abuse and narcissism. We will reject your article if it seems harmful in any way. As I said, this is a safe space, although we can not control whether people post harmful things in the comment sections.
  7. Do share your personal stories of how you’ve been hurt by narcissists and things you’ve learned about avoiding them or dealing with them.
  8. Be ready to take edits on your articles and have private notes on so we can communicate with you. We want your article to shine because it reflects well on our publication, too!
  9. Be patient. We expect to read and edit all articles within forty-eight hours. We want to get each one out as soon as possible. If we don’t get to it in that time, you can email me @ [email protected]
  10. Make sure your story actually fits the theme of the publication before submitting. Articles that don’t fit will be rejected.
  11. No hate speech or criticisms of other members of medium (by name) in your article.
  12. Although you may be sharing real stories, do not use real names.
  13. Follow all Medium rules and guidelines.
  14. We hope that you will clap and read each other’s articles, so we can help one another succeed.
