Announcing a new publication about writing and how to get in on the ground floor.
Are you a writer? Do you like to write? Do you often contemplate the nature of a writer’s life, inspiration, or reason for being? Then we want your thoughts! Passages Through Writing is a new publication open to all writers, new and seasoned. We are writers who write about writers, and anything having to do with writing. Whether you’re interested in writing books, fanfic on Wattpad, great Medium articles, or something else entirely, we want your thoughts.
At the core of this publication, we are interested in your point of view. Your perspective as a writer is valuable, no matter what’s on your mind. Do you find writing painful, but feel called to do it anyway? Have you discovered a useful piece of knowledge while writing online and feel moved to share it? Can’t stand the way all your friends invalidate your desire to write in public? We can all relate, and we want you to feel seen and heard. Be secure in knowing this publication is a safe place for all writers. Let’s foster a banter among our ranks. Comment, and comment again. Write new articles in response to other writers’ articles. Let’s have a conversation.
Passages Through Writing is a safe place to have honest conversations about writing!
Passages Through Writing is a 300–900 word count per article publication. Just a brief comment on this article is all you need to get going as a writer with us. Please submit your article as a draft, have a title and picture (properly credited, of course), and tag appropriately (Writing, Writing About Writing, Writer’s Life, or Writing Tips would all be acceptable tag options for this publication). A wide array of topics will be accepted, as long as they can be construed as valuable to a fellow writer. Articles can be about life as a writer, writing tips, the creative process, content creation, big ideas, the writing process, personal experiences in writing, i.e. anything to do with writing from any angle. Be thoughtful, be creative, be valuable.
