Who are we?
We are a platform based in Singapore that creates content ranging from Personal Finance, Adulting to Beginner Friendly investment.
We aim to empower individuals to lead a life they want without succumbing to the societal standard of success.
We believe that you have to take charge of your own finances to achieve the life you want. To get there, we understand that it is not easy and authentic financial advice is not always available. That is why here at Dare to Finance, we aim to empower you with our 2 cents to get you thinking about the other 98 cents.
Our platforms
Instagram is our main platform where we post bite-size content weekly in an easily understood manner. You can view this content on our Facebook page as well.
Why become a Contributor?
The knowledge in personal finance is boundless. There is always something to learn.
If you have are passionate about personal finance or if you are driven by the idea that your writing can have a positive impact on others’ life then we hope to be your medium.
Publishing in Dare to Finance publication will enable you to reach a broader audience and earn money through the Medium Partner Program. You will also remain as the author of your writings, according to the Medium Terms of Service you agree to when you signed up for an account.
You will keep 100% of the earnings that you earn through the Medium Partner program. This program is not administered by us and we do not pay writers directly for articles that they voluntarily contribute.
Your writing will remain as yours and you will be able to delete it at any moment, even after we have published it.
Submission rules
Before submitting your article, please read through the rules and understand them well. By submitting an article to Dare to Finance, you are agreeing to comply with all of them.
- All Medium’s rules and Term of Service applies to Dare to Finance’s Publication. Please read them before submitting an article
- You will be responsible for the content that you post. This means you assume all risks related to it, including but not limited to, content accuracy, claims relating to intellectual property or other legal rights.
- You give us the right to repurpose your content on our platforms. This means that we might, create content out of your article on our social media platform. But when we do so, you will be notified and credited dutifully.
Guidelines
Tips on getting your article ready for publication!
In short: We are looking for articles that can be valuable to our readers. Ideally, articles that invoke thoughts and trigger meaningful takeaways/lesson for the readers.
Before you start writing, ask yourself these few questions: - Is this something that you wish you know earlier? - Is this something that is not talked about much yet? - Is there any valuable takeaways that readers can learn from?
If your answer to any of the above questions is yes, then you are ready to start writing!
How to submit an article? To be our writer, please send your medium username to us here. Please make sure to include “@” in front of it.
