Write About Carrots

May/June 2020 Writers’ Prompt #5

Dear funny people,

This writer’s prompt gives you plenty of latitude. That’s because you will be writing about carrots.

I recently finished the book, Bird by Bird, by Anne Lamott. Great book. And there’s a funny line in there, when she’s talking about teaching writers’ workshops. And she tells her class to “write about carrots.”

In honor of Ms. Lamott, we shall do just that.

Your piece can take any form, poetry, short story, satire, cartoons…. anything goes, so long as it makes us smile and laugh!

This is a prompt in support of our current writers’ contest! Have fun writing!
