Wraiths Bellow in Black Lungs
A Poem Exploring Unnecessary Conflict And Anger
Anger of the most powerful emotions It gives you frenzy and pitiful commotions With friends and family, it drains the life It cuts your soul and bubbles up rife
Be armed, this lying apparition bides its tongue The essence of wraiths bellow in black lungs Blinding terrors, of tenebrous horrors So it follows disasters and gifts them to others Wrath you beautiful death hand of justice You vain beast, thinking of yourself ever righteous Hail storm of victims, disgorging hearts of ice Paradox its necessity, a fortunate vice
To master resent is a dangerous tool The most useful of all, to tame your fool In its destructive force of rage unleashed Of its leash, it extends quickly its reach
It’ll harvest and consume, never gratified Don’t satisfy, of it fuel for useful fires Know of thy penance, of its shadow side Of its possession, you’ll need patience and pliers
Thanks for reading!
Useful to express difficult situations in words, in poems. I hate fighting pointlessly, especially with the one family we have and can never take back. I’m angry properly in regard to these foolish arguments, angry at my foolish anger, and hope to learn and correct this rocky path. Fuel this fire for averting later disasters.
Best to all,
Ilija Begic
