Wow, lots of Info on the Tigris and Euphrates

So this dream was narrated in the plummy voice of some BBC announcer, it was all about the business of providing cartographic data, my son woke me up in the middle of it for water so that is how I remember. The visuals were maps, and lots of National Geographic quality film of the Middle East. So in the dream the announcer is talking about how cartographic data of the Tigris and Euphrates river systems has traditionally been provided by some British company — don’t remember what name it had — but now an Iraqi company was making inroads on the business.
The Iraqi data was of much higher quality the dream announcer explained and that this allowed for newer types and higher quality mapping applications to be built, because of the ancillary data that the Iraqis had.
This is sort of interesting here because it is a bunch of bullshit that the dreaming mind made up, obviously, I don’t know anything about the business of selling cartographic data and I doubt it really even exists — at least not to the level presented in the dream — I don’t really know anything about the Tigris and Euphrates river systems so all the information in the dream was false (unless I had remembered it which I don’t think is the case, but also — I learned this after looking it up — since both rivers start in Turkey although also pass through Iraq on way to Persian gulf it sounds a bit weird that it was an Iraqi company with access to data — also considering the recent history of Iraq not being one to lend much faith in the data storing and handling capabilities of an Iraqi company contra other potential companies)
Of course I guess dreams are generally a bunch of bullshit that the dreaming mind has made up but somehow a dream of someone going to school in their underwear feels different than a fake documentary regarding the business of selling cartographic data.
As an example of the kind of things that can be done with this data (at this point it seems sort of an infomercial really) they built a small app that showed what kinds of camels were prevalent in which areas that the river ran through because, according to the bullshit dream narration, the different geographical regions the river enabled was beneficial to the life of the camels (in the dream both Dromedaries and Bactrian camels were represented).
It was funny because when I woke up, went and got the water, came back and gave my son the water I was thinking about this dream, but I was not thinking about it as a dream, I was thinking that it was interesting how camel breeds depended on what kind of river systems they had access to, and then I started thinking wait, where did I watch that documentary — was it Netflix? When did I watch it? And then I remembered oh, it was just in the dream I had, it’s all just made up.
