I never thought to be accepted as a writer, and that my article would be published. ‘I’m just an unknown woman from The Netherlands, a small frog country, and I am not even a big writer.’, is what I thought. And one day later, my article was accepted. ‘Huh, that fast? How so? Why me?’ I even yelled through the house that my article was accepted and very fast. I literally jumped through the air. I was so happy. My family member stared at me: ‘She is out of her mind.’This moment was a huge step for me as a writer. I published more in this publication, and also these articles were published very fast. I was surprised as I had to wait tons of years before my articles were published in publications. This publication is different. I felt at home immediately when I read more stories published in this publication. Like you knew someone the first moment you meet them.A few months went by, publishing here and there and in other publications. I always came back here. I felt at peace when publishing here. Someone stole his e-mail and sent me one on behalf of him? No, that could not be. He always is so kind.’, as curious as I am, I opened the e-mail. I was flabbergasted. ‘What? Me? Why me?’, I thought when I read the words if I want to be an editor for ILLUMINATION. I had to think about it, but not for too long. I said yes.I am glad I said yes.The moment I came into the editorial room, was crazy, in a humorous, positive way, with lots of fun, jokes, seriousness, and so much more I can’t even express myself right now. What a blessing!This is why I write: for those people enjoying my words, my sentences, and my stories, just to be entertained and inspired.I am eternally grateful for this fantastic opportunity, which gives me the journey that teaches me lessons, and not being fear for things that I was afraid of showing my voice.ILLUMINATION: Up to a million more years, until the world dies.</article></body>

We have something to celebrate. And it is not just a party. It a very special party. It is ILLUMINATION that has something to celebrate!

A team I am part of and I am very proud to be part of.

Unfortunately, I can not travel and organize the biggest worldwide party. So, this article instead.

So, one year ago already. Unbelievable. Can you imagine? One year ago, Dr Mehmet Yildiz started this amazing publication. A publication that inspires you to write the articles you want, to write your best version of yourself, and be the writer you want to be. A publication that gives you a voice that might not be there with other publications.
