To exist.
To be worthy
Is very different
Than simply to exist. Cells exist.
Are they worthy?
Well, that depends on how much of a primate we are.
If all things have some kind of worth, what thing has the most worth?
Doesn’t everything have to be a pyramid?
Doesn’t something have to be on top?
Worth is actually assigned by primates like us
And has nothing to do with the world outside of us,
But we do act
As humans act
On our worth notions, ideas that can and do die with us,
But sometimes an idea sticks around. This is called being influential.
Who and what has been influential among humans, when and where?
What is worthy now?
Numbers.
Line thinking.
Being siloed.
While these things are necessary
Are they the only truths out there
Where humans are concerned?
No.
What are some other worth-based (primate) thoughts?
Sure, biology. Sure, all the poetry ever written.
All the stories ever told,
all the lives we each have lived
down all the long ages of human lives
here on Earth,
