Hello, Fellow Readers and Writers!

If this article has found it’s way to you, I hope it brightens your day.

I am writing this as an intentional contrast to the more complex subjects I’ve written about. A friend of mine recently inspired me to create something more uplifting.

There is a page in my notebook titled “read this often,” where I record important reminders in the form of quotes and questions.

The following is a slightly more structured version of my scribblings; consider this a look behind the scenes of a writer’s creative process.

Hopefully something here will inspire you as well.

We don’t just live and die, We change the world around us.

“I don’t want to be influenced by my environment, I want my environment to be influenced by me.” -Lauren London

If you get what you give, What are you giving?

Prioritize:

  • Relationship to Self
  • Relationship to the Universe
  • Recognizing Distraction
  • Implementing Design

Invite people to imagine with you.

What if we all gave generously and received graciously?

What if we all treated ourselves like someone we’re in love with?

“Isn’t it love we stay alive for?” -Robin Williams as John Keating

Stop trying to be seen a certain way; Just be vulnerable.

Your history is always with you, even when you’re not thinking about it. Give your pain purpose.

Stay connected to yourself and something greater.

It’s okay to be afraid. The trick is not letting it control you.

“The artist’s job is not to succumb to despair but to find an antidote for the emptiness of existence.” -Kathy Bates in Midnight in Paris

There is no one more important than you. There is no one less important than you.

Be mindful of things that take you away from where you want to be; Create the life you’ve been dreaming of.

“It takes a whole lot of work to make it look easy” -Matthew McConaughey

The worse the adversity, The greater the opportunity to grow.

You cannot grow and expect yourself to stay the same. Allow yourself to evolve.

“You are what you settle for.” -Janis Joplin
