Words Are Your Super Power.

A long long time ago, when I was a different person I used to think that actions were the real deal. What someone does for you is what matters and not their words but, my perspectives shifted as soon as I stepped foot into the adult world.
The slab of warm, boneless meat that is inside our mouths may seem powerless but it is the most powerful thing in the world that we humans possess. People may bring you the moon and stars combined but if their words are bitter the moon they give you will feel lifeless and stained.
Our words have the power to make and break things. They hold the power to kill, throw bullets, and burn someone to ashes while also making someone feel special, loved, and laugh out loud and that is why tell us to choose our words wisely.
Our actions, on the other hand, play the game of proving our words right or wrong. If my husband tells me how much he loves me but his actions prove nothing then those are just mere words that flow out of his mouth but if he actually takes care of every little thing or emotion I show then that proves how true his words really are.
We humans are a mix of complexities. Our actions, words, body language, everything depicts an emotion or a feeling that we may be feeling, deep down. If someone is fidgeting too much while talking to you he/she may be nervous or has anxiety. If they move their hands too much they are thought of as warm and energetic or want to emphasize their words.
Everything, however, comes back to what comes out of our mouths, the good, the bad, the worse. Everything depends on what we say.
Did you know that the world's 90% population dies of lung cancer?
or that the most sought-after profession is being a carpenter?
I just made all that up, but you believed my words right? Did I seem like someone gulping down facts from Google? Or did I seem like a highly educated person who knew what goes on in every corner of the world?
Those were just my words, telling you something I knew nothing about, making you believe in a world I just conjured up.
So, choose your words wisely.
Thank you for reading.
