A day dedicated to every woman

For the woman who works hard to care for her family, for the woman who stays all day in the house to get everything ready. For Her who cries alone in bed for the mistakes she had made or for the quarrel she had with her family.

for the woman who was abused by her father for the one who is abused by her husband and hides her wounds and bruises from others and smiles to show everything is fine and for her that the jealous man kills.

For the woman who has no money to buy the things the children need and for her who can’t even afford food for them. For the woman who sells her body and pride to survive. For her who has to withstand the boss who sexually harrasses her.

For the woman who strives hard to have a child for her who loses a child and her heart after that. For her who stays awake all night next to the bed of the ill children whether at home or at a hospital watching them die.

For the woman who reaches the top, this one who climbs the career ladder against all odds. For the woman who becomes a great artist and excels in what she does.

For our friend who got raped by a stranger For our sister who lost her husband For the grandma who still feels strong enough to help everyone For our daughter who tries to fit in a world she hates, for our mother, for me, for you, for all of us…

Happy Woman’s Day ladies. We should celebrate every day but unfortunately, our world is not made for angels.
