Woke Culture’s Totalitarian Narcissism
A culture that is constantly aware of its own oppression and seeks to fight it.
Woke culture is a term used to describe the cultural phenomena that emerged in recent years. It’s characterized by the constant presence of political and social issues, whether it be racism, sexism or other forms of oppression.
Woke culture also encourages critical thinking — but only if it agrees with your own perspective and beliefs. In other words:
If you don’t agree with anything someone says on Twitter or Facebook, then they’re just ignorant bigots who don’t know how to think beyond their own experience (and they should go stand outside).
What is woke culture?
Woke culture is a culture of woke reviews, an ideology that values taking action against oppressive systems and institutions.
Woke feminism believes that women are oppressed by patriarchy and that men are privileged by society. Woke political correctness blames white people for racism, trans people for being transgender, straight people for homophobia and misogyny — all in the name of social justice!
Woke social justice focuses on issues such as poverty, homelessness, access to education and healthcare; but it also drives an agenda based on anti-white racism (which it falsely claims to combat).
The totalitarian narcissism of woke culture
Woke culture is a totalitarian movement. It is also a narcissistic movement. Woke culture denies the reality of biological sex, gender and race — the very things that make us human beings with unique identities and characteristics.
Woke culture is an attack on reality itself — a deliberate denial of the existence of any objective truths about ourselves or the world around us.
It seeks to replace them with social constructivist theories that deny physical biology as well as scientific evidence showing how evolutionary development has shaped our species over millions of years into what we are today: people with certain innate qualities related to our race or sex (gender).
The way woke culture affects gender and sexuality
Gender and sexuality are not binary, they’re fluid. The concept of gender is a spectrum and it can be extremely difficult to determine what your own sexuality is because there are so many factors that play into it.
For example, if you identify as male or female but don’t like wearing dresses or having long hair, then you might still call yourself “queer” because queer identities are often fluid ones that include elements from multiple categories at once (e.g., bisexuality).
Woke culture has had a huge impact on how we think about ourselves as human beings; however, this change in thinking has also led to an increase in oppression against women who do not fit neatly within the confines of traditional femininity — something which we will discuss later on!
A world of woke reviews
Woke reviews are the perfect example of this. They only focus on the positive aspects of a product, and they’re not useful for making informed buying decisions.
Woke reviews are also a bad way to compare products because they don’t consider all the factors that go into making an informed decision — like price, quality, user experience and so much more!
Wake reviews are manipulative marketing tactics used by companies who want you to buy their products without even knowing what they are.
Wake reviews can be found all over social media platforms such as Facebook or Instagram where anyone can post about anything with no real purpose except for selling something (or themselves).
People will often post about how much money they saved by using this product instead of another one which might have been cheaper but wasn’t any better either way — showing very little concern for whether or not both products were actually worth buying in comparison to each other.”
How woke culture harms mental health
Woke culture is a form of totalitarian narcissism. It encourages us to depend on the state to define what’s real and not to question anything.
This creates an environment in which people are afraid to think for themselves, because they don’t want to be called racist or sexist or homophobic (or whatever else “woke” means).
Woke culture discourages people from thinking for themselves by telling them that if you disagree with me, then it’s because you’re a jerk who refuses to listen and learn from the oppressed group.
Woke culture also discourages people from thinking for themselves by encouraging them not only not listen but also actively resist any information coming from sources outside their own tribe — even when those sources come from respected academics and professionals!
Woke culture encourages us to depend on the state to define what’s real and not to question anything.
Woke culture is the idea that woke people are those who are aware of social issues and are fighting for social justice. The goal of woke culture is to make sure you don’t feel bad about yourself or your beliefs, so it’s important not just to support causes but also to be aware of them and participate in them.
Because we’re told that everything we do impacts others (i.e., “how dare you think differently from me?”), it’s easy for us to forget our own agency over our own lives — and this extends even into our own bodies & experiences!
We’re taught that there aren’t any answers out there except what society tells us; if something isn’t working out according to the rules laid down by society at large, then there must be something wrong with your values or approach…or maybe even yourself!
To sum it up
I think it’s important to remember that this kind of culture exists, and that we need to be aware of what’s happening around us.
It’s not just an issue for those who experience mental illness or who are in recovery from it; it affects all of us. We can start by taking a moment before you go on social media, or when someone posts something negative about themselves or their life, think about why they would post something like that in the first place — and if they actually want help.
If so many people are posting selfies with their pets on Instagram but not doing anything else with their lives, perhaps they should find another hobby instead?
