Throughout my life, especially after adulthood, the Creator has always been my unchanging companion.

How might I liken the Love that I have come to live by, for Creator has been nothing but my true refuge.

I am not exaggerating that in this arrangement, I have no shortage. Whether it is mentally, physically, emotionally, financially, spiritually, or when you name it, I have it and more.

Through meditation, I can let my energy insert new ideas in any season (broke, disappointed, unsure, or tired). This noble emotion allows me to show up, despite what I feel or what I have in front of me. One promise from my Creator that has never left me stranded continues to be that “Be still & know that I am God,” (Psalm 46 v10).

There are many love languages here including, good communications and commandments, food cultures, meditation, spirituality, and faith-filled romance.

In as much as I was born Christian, a time and chance event, I am highly aware that my forefathers and Guiding Angels are always on duty for me. Therefore, my life has a lot of help: think about me, condemning, fighting, or opening doors I otherwise was never meant to set foot in.

Palm 23v5 speaks to this point so well: “In front of my enemies, you set the table, thou hast anointed my head with oil, my cup runneth over.”The sun does not always shine in love! At the right time, the divinity humbles me by teaching me hard work and its value. These moments have their uses. I think they are hard pills that gain me patience for staying in touch with my personal experience.

As mentioned earlier, the balloon narrative accurately describes my relationship. I am forever thankful to my ancestors for balancing our Nguni-Bantu, Koi, San, and Christain values this long. Through their wisdom, I can say, “Through it all, I have come to trust In God.”

All in all, may I add one of my beloved gospel songs? One thing I propose is for us never to assume all authority in our lives, for this would be overwhelming. No wonder humanity self-medicates as life is a lot to handle without surrendering over to a higher being, whatever that is to you!
