Who says education can’t be taught broadly?

Today’s random word is Faculty.

Harley was the laughingstock of her family.

While they were pioneers in the flight industry, she wanted to study foreign, culture-rich texts.

They didn’t give a flying hoot when she caught up on her academic basics.

They even rolled their eyes when she applied for university. As did most of her peers who plucked at the feathers of her confidence.

But she weaved their unrelenting sneers into her wings and soared higher than any of them could reach.

She was awarded with first-class honours. But most of all, she became the first owl faculty member of the Arts.

Thank you Nancy Oglesby for the drabble challenge!
