WitchCraft

For people in the western world, this may not be a big deal but for people like me who grew up in “3rd world countries”, especially Nigeria, we have had our ears full on witchcraft stories.
Pretty much every death is attributed to witchcraft. It doesn’t matter what the doctors say, as far as we are concerned, diabetes, stroke, car crashes… these are all the workings of a witch in some village.
In churches, pastors and prophets would single a person out of the congregation and tell them how an old uncle or aunt in their village has locked them in a bottle and as such has stifled their progress… there is a lot and I could go on but this is just to let you know how serious that thing is in some places.
Do I believe there’s such a thing as witchcraft?
I found the explanation to the concept known as witchery and I’m going to share it. I usually don’t accept any theory hook, line, and sinker. I like to scrutinize and play around until I can prove it; witchcraft ain’t no different.
My mum used to suffer heart palpitations and of course, it was attributed to witchcraft; it was some people in the village who wanted to kill her and we had to pray in order for God to arrest them and free her. I did notice however that once she started exercising and losing weight, the heart palpitations stopped. Yes, we were grateful to God but I saw that. Could it be that what happened was just a lady whose body was giving signs of being stifled from fat?
Over the years I studied as best I could all the cases that came my way; cases filed under witchcraft and while they were quite vivid, I believed there should be an explanation for it. I didn’t believe people, especially evil people could have that kind of power and we had to be at their mercy… then one day, an answer came.
Thoughts and influence
Our belief system is the pathway for conscious thought or suggestion to become subconscious. A father is able to influence his children because of this mechanism; the children believe him to be knowing and they will take whatever he says as final. This is why the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree…belief!
We have had cases where parents placed curses on their children and the children were affected by those curses. The same has happened in the case of blessings and I found that the single factor that caused these proclamations to manifest was the influence the parent’s mind had over the child’s mind, or to say, the child believed the proclamations and they became subconscious.
So how does witchcraft work?
A focused thought directed towards a person will go into the ether and locate the person to whom the thought is directed. It doesn’t matter if the thought is positive or negative, it will go find its target and if the target’s vibration matches the thought, it will latch on and have effects.
Let’s go back to when we were little. When we are offended, we want to hurt the person who offended us and so we throw punches or go tell an adult in hopes that punishment will come to our offender. As we grew older, ( for those who didn’t find a way to manage their anger) it got more intense and because of civility, punches may not be thrown so the fight goes to the mind. A person may find themselves imagining negative experiences for the offender. Am I right or am I right?
The next level would be to focus and get lost in the anger, think angrily about this person for days or weeks or even years… and before you know it, news comes that the person fell down the stairs, or lost a baby, or lost their job. In Nigeria, how you know these “witches” is by the comment “my God has done it" or “God showed him" when tragedy befalls another human being.
Thoughts are powerful and the active thought of the sender will surely overpower the passive thought of the receiver. What happens is that the active thought will attempt to infiltrate the headspace of the receiver and if successful, it will create conditions within the receiver to validate the thought before producing results. Let’s use a positive example of a healer.
Before anyone is healed of a disease, they have to believe on a subconscious level that they are getting better. Most time, this belief is automatically generated but in the case of more serious cases, the sufferer may lose hope and spiral towards demise. In these cases, a healer is called in and the job of the healer is to influence the mind of the sufferer by making them believe that they are getting better. Should the healer manage to apply this influence correctly, improvements are seen. Improvements come because the sufferer has a certain belief in the healer.
So you see that the mere belief in witchcraft amplifies the power of any person who may actively push negative thoughts our way. And the surest way to repel such vibrations is to have an active positive thought when those vibrations and thoughts come knocking.
The witch projects negative thoughts and they come to the potential victim in the form of imaginations which suggest fear. If these fears are entertained, the witch only has to wait for the results to show up, but when these thoughts are repelled with positive ones, then the switch is flipped and the thought has no choice but t return to the sender and will surely manifest over time.
The key is to maintain a positive thought pattern and make sure that thoughts of fear do not last in the consciousness
Conclusion
We should be careful what we believe and the only way to curb the imbibing of negative beliefs are by knowing more of the truth. A person who knows the truth will know that everything that happens to them is due to the thoughts they have believed. So while I do see how curses can work, I know that if a person quickly repels such thoughts by countering them with positive affirmations, they raise their vibration and the negative suggestions lose their footing.
When a thought of fear comes knocking, no matter how tempting it is to entertain the thought, quickly replace it or reject the fear that is attached to it.
No thought has power over your mind unless you allow them. Know this and know peace!
