“My wish for you is that you continue. Continue to be who and how you are. To astonish the world with your acts of kindness. Continue to allow humor to lighten the burden of your tender heart.” ~Maya Angelou

Wishing Wells and Rainbows

As a child, I believed a pot of gold was at the end of each rainbow. I still see the magic and beauty as an adult, even knowing no gold is on the other end. I still close my eyes and make a wish before blowing my candles out on my birthday. And I still love to make a wish, blow the dried dandelion, and watch the seeds float through the air.

There is magic in believing in wishes. It creates hope. Sometimes, my wishes come true, and sometimes, they are dreams so big that they are too far-fetched, but it is still fun to imagine.

It is healthy to make wish lists. I often make several columns. The first column is my realistic wish list of goals and things to purchase and save for. My second column is the experiences I wish to attract into my life. And, finally, the third is my dream big column. Today, I will share my wish list with you and the universe. It changes periodically, and that is okay. But this is my current list. When I put it out to the universe, it conspires to make it happen.
