Wisdom or Arrogance
Poetry
Beneath the layers of arrogance Wisdom was suffocating It was rusting Due to ‘no use’
One day it had a visitor Overconfidence walked up to it And said
This happens when My brother's Arrogance rules People love power, they don’t Care about the knowledge You are rusting and We shine like jewels
Do you know you and your brother Have short lives, Wisdom said I may look simple but My simplicity shines
Some sacrifices are necessary To show the reality The day is not far when your Layers will be burned down and People will see me with clarity
My rust is also my part Of learning, It says The day you stop using me Is the day you stop living
