The Importance of Patience in Pain

There’s a mother, Went into labour, Waiting for the angel to arrive, With the pain of uncertainty.

On the bed, She shouted in unbearable pain, Hoping it will end, Then, she took a slow breath, Be patient despite the sharp ache.

Life didn’t come too easily, Pain and suffering had to be endured, Still, forbearance was needed, To safely give birth a life.

Hours later, The crying sound of a sweetheart is heard, Where her baby girl is born, After hours of tolerance for pain.

Her baby cried, As the world seemed new to her, The light was new for her, Couldn’t understand, What was happening to her.

She was in the dark womb, Believed that it was her place, For the past nine months, When arriving on earth, Acceptance took her some time.

But when her mother hugged her, She knew this is her new earth, She realized her world was no darker, As she could see light, Through her mother’s eyes.

Her mother’s pain absconded, As she saw her world, Through her angel, Where she learnt, She’s not alone anymore, As she is gifted with a gem, A present for her patience, Despite the suffering of pain.

We can learn lots of wisdom from a mother’s labour pain. During the labour pain, she needs an extreme level of patience to give birth to her sweet little heart. For the past nine months during her pregnancy, she made lots of effort to take care of her physical and mental health to give birth to a healthy baby. Yet, when the labour comes, she has to endure the pain and cannot run away from it. Nevertheless, this pain makes every mother strong as they give hope to their children in life. The same goes for our effort. All the efforts and hard work we put into giving birth with a purpose may lead to pain and difficulties. Still, if we are patient enough, our effort surely gives birth to success. Furthermore, we are not alone in this world. Like the baby who wrongly thought that darkness was her world when she was in the womb, she cried when she perceived light. The same goes for us too. We wrongly assumed that the pain that resulted from the effort would lead us to darkness, but when we realize it, will definitely lead us to the light of victory. And we are not alone. Like the baby who is solaced by her mother, we surely will be guided by our intuition to achieve our true purpose.

The pain that resulted from the effort is just the birth of a new beginning. Trust that you are not alone and that you are always being guided by your intuition.
