Winds of Change
A few nearly poetic words on embracing change

Don’t lose yourself comparing the height of your trees to those of your neighbor. You are perfectly capable.
Carry your soft gaze into the sky and give yourself permission to feel. To feel the heavy heart and the presence of words that have long clogged your throat.
For those are the signs of a body and soul that are aching for change. Not a change of scenery but, a change in the old familiar ways.
Once it comes, know that change is a friend, not a foe. Learn to welcome it with arms wide open and to find comfort in its embrace.
Allow it to safely hold you in spaces where your mind can focus on the world beyond itself, and your spirit can cling to evidence of all that is beautiful in the world.
