Wind Dancing Dune — A Poem
an illusion of separateness

This poem was written nearly one year ago. I re-connected with a woman I barely knew from High School. We had an immensely powerful heart connection which produced a kundalini experience in me — very healing. It was a brief encounter.
It’s much easier to see the energy between two other people whether physically present or not than it is to see energy with someone with whom I have a heart connection. The attachment and the bond of love erases much of my ability to “see”. In this way secrets may flourish.
If we all were able to see/feel the energy of the in-between then this illusion of separateness might just dissipate.
Wind Dancing Dune
Under light sublime of moon
Glistening heatwaves shimmer rising;
Distant waves lap shore.
Dusk fades to night — envelops day in soft embrace — protected.
Dune metamorphosing with warm wind’s hands
Shape and caress her edges gliding repose.
Soft delicate strength and vulnerable she accepts wind’s
Fingertips scarcely feathering form;
She acquiesces in appearances — feint.
Shapeshifting grains of sand
Cast stars domes of heaven
Upon wind’s dreams flight, she transforms
Him to light a solar wind — true.
His solar fire stutters to the spark of her stars
Brilliant be ensconced in Dune’s fragile resiliency.
Together their spark paints the heavens with a burst
Of dancing aura in borealis trails…
Cascading all, bliss of light from supernova makes –
Sparkled dust from Dune’s embrace of solar fire from nebula make
And fade into inky black waves of night.
And rest in rapture made.
