Abstract

Additionally, the page showcases creative pieces from other participants, such as timed creative works, reflections on creative breaks, and musings on the first cup of the day, each linked for further exploration. Wilted

#12 of 31 days of May SCWBI Challenge- First attempt at Tanka

Though wilting, still beautiful to me — photo my own

Memories wilted

In the present or future

Determined by self

Perceptions, beliefs filter

Subjective truth constant thought

A saying that has stuck through-out my 20 year relationship during disagreements is “that’s your version of the truth”.

Today it has a new layer of meaning to it for me.

Yep disagreeing still happens.

Open and honest communication when emotions are calmed resolves them…. sex helps. As well as remembering this is the person I love and desire to grow with.

In the order the app played nice with me today (really missing my desktop!) new prompt inspired offerings :

TheresAnn Sylvan amazing timed creative piece using all 31 prompts.

Christine Graves reflection on the importance of creative breaks

Saloni Joshi’s perfect first cup of the day

Rasheed Hooda first cup of the day may surprise you, in a healthy way

If I have missed any others, I apologise…please give me a nudge and I will add them here.

“Wilted” – today’s prompt from the 31 days of May challenge being run by SCBWI West (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators) …if anybody feels like participating, join in as you please.
