Summary

Wildlife Trekker is hosting a monthly challenge for September 2022, focusing on arthropods, inviting photographers and writers to share personal encounter stories and photos.

Abstract

The Wildlife Trekker monthly challenge for September 2022 is dedicated to arthropods, encouraging enthusiasts to capture and narrate their experiences with these diverse invertebrates through stories and photographs. Participants are required to submit their drafts between August 31 and September 29, 2022, for publication. The challenge emphasizes personal encounters with arthropods, which include arachnids, crustaceans, insects, and myriapods. Submissions must adhere to specific requirements, such as including a "Monthly Challenge" tag, featuring at least one self-taken or party-member-taken photo of an arthropod, and having a story length between one and ten minutes. The initiative is open to current Wildlife Trekker writers and those interested in joining the platform. Randy Runtsch, the publisher, expresses anticipation for the stories and photographs that will broaden the publication's circle of compassion for all living creatures.
