Get your camera and keyboard ready to prepare for this new Wildlife Trekker monthly challenge

Call for Stories and Photographs that Feature Wild Animal Pairs and Groups
Like people, many animals are sociable creatures who like the company of other animals. So, get your cameras ready, because the next Wildlife Trekker monthly challenge, for July 2022, will feature stories and photos of wild animal pairs and groups. If you have a wild animal group story to share, based on a personal encounter, please submit a draft between June 25, 2022, and July 30, 2022, for publication in July.

Who Can Participate in the Monthly Challenge?
Anyone with a story and photo(s) from a personal encounter with a pair or group of wild animals can participate in the monthly challenge for July 2022. If you would like to submit a story but are not already a writer for Wildlife Trekker, please respond to this story with your request, or send me a private message.

Please apply these basic requirements to your stories:
- Add the tag “Monthly Challenge” as one of up to five tags for your story.
- Credit the names of the photographer in the caption of each photo.

- Stories can feature any type of animal, such as birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, invertebrates, and so on.
- Pairs or groups of animals can be of the same or different species. Pairs could be mates, a parent and an offspring, or any groups of animals of the same or different species.
- All stories and photos will feature animal encounters with live and non-captive animals (no zoo stories and photos, please).
- Feature one or more photos of pairs or groups of wild animals, all taken by you, or by someone who shared the encounter with you.
- Feature as many separate groups and species of animals as you would like.
- Limit your story to one to ten minutes long.

- Include the text “Monthly Challenge — Animal Pairs and Groups” as all or part of your story’s subtitle.

I look forward to your stories and photographs.
Happy trekking,
