Wildflower Wanderings
And Wonderings

Wildflowers can’t be controlled, and neither can the girl with a soul boundless as the sky, and a spirit as free and wild as the ocean. ― Melody Lee
My wildflower wanderings take me climbing to the edge of a cliff, stopping to catch the beauty of the daisies and their wild friends.
How can they hold on through the storms?

My wildflower wanderings take me to a parking lot to admire the sweetpeas and count the butterflies and bees.
How many butterflies are in this one picture? (5) How can so many share the same space in such harmony?

My wildflower wanderings take me to welcome the dandelion that pushed through my freshly spread mulch.
How can one be so resilient and determined?

My wildflower wanderings take me to zoom in on the last solo forget-me-not that held on past nature's blooming window, just to say goodby and remind me not to forget.
How can one stand alone with such an important message?

My wildflower wanderings take me anywhere the flowers grow. That is where you will find me, dancing with my wildflowered heart, wondering how I am so lucky to experience so much beauty in the world.
Thanks for reading. I hope everyone finds the beauty in the world that makes them feel like always dancing.
Note: All of these wildflower photos were taken on a trip to Michigan this summer. As you can see, wildflowers catch my eye, and I love to capture them in photos. In my mind, they sometimes come with connections and messages or wonderings. As we get older we often lose our sense of wonder and our heart for wandering. Our physical and mental health will thank us for taking the time to notice the beauty and awe the world has to offer.
Thanks to Diana C. for the always interesting prompts!
