Why Your Prayers Go Unanswered and Have No Power
You may not be doing it right

As most of us know, prayer is a necessary and vital part of our spiritual process.
Prayer is a direct communication channel between ourselves and the Almighty.
Regardless of your religious affiliation, prayer is a key component in how you communicate with the creator.
But like many of you, growing up, my experience with prayer didn’t often go so great. It was often hit or miss in terms of whether my prayers were answered or not.
And there were so many times that my prayers went unanswered.
There were times where, year after year, I would pray with all my might and put my whole heart into my prayer, and I would see no results.
I’m sure most of you can relate.
Now that I’m older, more experienced, more enlightened, and have been able to see much more results and favorable outcomes when it comes to my prayers, I now see why I was not getting the results I wanted.
I hope you all can benefit from what I have learned over the years.
The following are four reasons why your prayers go unanswered.
1) How You Feel About Your Relationship With God
Most religions are set up in a way where there is a loving being that we revere and worship that guides, helps, and assists us throughout our life. This is a beautiful thing. It is likened to a parent-child relationship.
But oftentimes religion urges us to view ourselves as lowly, unclean, and unworthy.
But if the connection with the creator is indeed a parent-child relationship, then I don’t think the creator would want us to view ourselves as low, unworthy, and undeserving.
Quite the contrary…
I actually believe you should develop a comfortable, loving friendship with the Almighty.
If he is your parent, then he wants the best for you.
If you want to see your prayers have power, then you need to know that you are indeed worthy.
Feeling worthy is a key part of the first step in a powerful outcome when it comes to prayer.
2. How You Feel About Yourself
Growing up, I was raised Baptist. I was taught that prayer was a very formal interaction between God and myself.
Every prayer had to be a bowed head and a formal tone.
You had to start off by stating how humble, low, and unworthy you were and how great God is.
As I write this, a feeling of heaviness, sadness, and uneasiness just came over me.
When you really think about it, there’s something sad and counter-intuitive about this.
Why would a loving creator want you to feel unworthy and undeserving?
I actually don’t think God wants us to view ourselves this way.
We are a reflection of God and therefore we are worthy and valuable in his sight.
When you truly feel and know this, your prayer life will take off!
3. How You Approach Prayer
As I stated before, growing up, I was taught to start prayers by stating how low and unworthy I was.
In addition to that, you spent the rest of the time begging for God to have mercy on you (even though you don’t deserve it) and to please, please, please grant you this prayer.
Essentially…you had to beg, beg, beg…and then beg some more.
But this approach is all wrong.
As I stated earlier, God loves us and wants the best for us.
If this is the case, you don’t have to beg.
If God is our parent, he wants to see us prosper.
You should go to God in prayer feeling worthy and valuable and like the creator wants to meet your needs and desires.
Therefore, state your needs with confidence that God wants to meet your needs.
In fact, give your prayers a huge power boost by beginning your request with “I am…”
When you start your request with “I am” it puts you in a mindset of already having that which you desire and it transforms and heightens the energy of your prayers.
4. How You Feel About Where You Are and What You Have
As I just stated, you don’t have to beg.
State your petition and say, “Thank you Lord that I am…”
You always want to come from a place of being grateful for everything you have.
You may not have everything you want, and you may not be exactly where you want to be, but being grateful for the things you do have sends out a message to God and the universe that you appreciate what you have and therefore you are ready to receive more.
Infusing gratitude into your communication with the most high supercharges your prayers.
5. How You Feel About the Outcome
Lastly, when you pray, you have to feel and know that your prayer will be answered.
You have to have an assured and unwavering confidence that your needs will be met.
When you have an assured confidence and you don’t doubt, you are exhibiting the faith that moves mountains.
This will produce miraculous outcomes!
The Final Word
To sum it all up, just a few simple tweaks to your prayers can totally transform the power of your prayers.
If you start to incorporate these simple changes, I promise you that you will begin to see much more favorable outcomes and the things you want to manifest will come to life!
Happy praying!
