Why You Should Take It Easy
An important step that needs to be taken
After something big occurs But not before in many cases, don't wait Change is what you need Define what is healthy Eager to reclaim your ways Follow what you desire Go forward Happiness is what you want Ideally now, why wait Just breathing isn’t enough Knowing that there is more Letting your inner thoughts thrive Melting your goals and what you truly want Nothing matters anymore Obsession to perfection is drowning you Pour positivity into your stressful days Quit now or you can go down further Rest and contemplate Salvage what you have left Take it easy and reach the surface once again Underneath it all, you will leave the things holding you back Vacation is where your mind wants to go Wander off onto a tranquil time XYZ is what you have to plan out now Yell to the new you Zombie of a never-ending cycle is now gone
An abecedarian poem is wherein each stanza or as in this case, each line starts with the first letter of the alphabet and continues until you reach the end.
It’s a lovely type of format to play with and have fun with your words.
This poem was inspired by Gurpreet Dhariwal from whom I learned about such a format. She is a lovely writer who recently shared a piece so important to her heart and thoughts.
