Why You Should Never Feel Afraid of a Vegan Witch From Transylvania
And here’s how you could win a tarot reading from such a witch
Throughout history, witches have had an image attached to them as an evil hag or a black-cloaked crone creating suspicious concoctions in her kitchen. Despite living in our evolved modern times, witches are still viewed as scary and different.
However, I would like to introduce you to a witch who is here to change all of that.
A witch who doesn’t hurt animals or use them to whip up her magic potions. In fact, she is taking the alternative route and combining holistic vegan approaches with modern-day spirituality.
Her revolutionary approach is completely baffling the witch community that she left behind.
She is no threat to a single human, and probably wouldn’t even hurt a fly.
Some time ago, I discovered Witchy here on Medium.
Until that moment, I had no idea that I could develop such a girl-crush on a fictional character who has lived for over 700 years and is still going strong.
Who wouldn’t fall in love with a little blue witch who walked away from a life that didn’t serve her in the Transylvanian forest, and settled in the English countryside; learning the English language, all about our foods and drinks, when it is and isn’t appropriate to start on the tequila, and how to handle a crush on Simon Cowell?
She’s a whirly blue witch who is struggling to get her head around when to take our language literally and when to take it with a pinch of salt (no, I don’t mean literally, Witchy).
The thing is, she just charms me more by the day. If it isn’t her wonderful conversations about self-reflection, it will be her lessons on the problems with staying stuck in life:
How she learned that every decision is the right one:
And on discovering your inner magic:
Here’s where you can benefit from Witchy:
More recently, she started learning how to read tarot cards. I know a little about the tarot and I could see that Witchy has a natural talent that is unlike any other tarot-reader, and this inspired me!
I started imagining the possibility of having a tarot-reading done by Witchy herself.
Now, Witchy has probably already been studying the Law of Attraction and would absolutely agree with me that the power of my thought manifested the opportunity that I was desiring. The next thing I knew, Witchy — via her friend and fellow life-explorer Liberty Forrest, Author — announced that she was holding a contest in which she would be gifting tarot readings to ten lucky winners.
To be clear, Witchy’s tarot readings will not be anything like the kinds of readings that anyone else gives. They will be off-the-wall bonkers! Which was exactly why I knew I needed to get my application in tout suite!
All I had to do was write to Witchy and, in 100 words or less, tell her why I think I should be one of the lucky recipients of her tarot readings. Here’s what I wrote:
Dearest Witchy,
I don’t know if you know this but you and I have a lot in common.
I also tried to do magic and failed. Tying banana leaves to my arms didn’t make me fly.
I have also visited the castle of your pinhead ex-boyfriend, Vlad, in Transylvania, and was fortunate to witness the visually mind-blowing autumn become the magical white world of winter overnight.
I have been the “weird vegan” too!
I understand you, Witchy. And that’s why I know that there’s no other Tarot reader for me.
I can’t wait!
With love, Sally XOX
Now, I am not sure if I am shooting myself in the foot (don’t tell that to Witchy — she might take me literally) by letting you all know about this opportunity, but I couldn’t help myself.
Will you apply? And what will be the reason YOU should be one of Witchy’s contest winners?
I don’t mind the competition, it’s okay. But just remember…
Witchy was my friend first!
Here’s the newsletter-ish, written by Liberty, that will give you the juicy details, along with s̶o̶m̶e̶ a lot of her own beautiful wisdom:
