Why you should have a Book of Shadows

Hello dear readers! I don’t know if you’re familiar with this type of topic, so I’ll start from the beginning. A Book of Shadows, commonly known as a “BOS”, is a journal used by practitioners of ritual magic to record rituals, spells, and their results, as well as other magical information. Both individual practitioners and covens maintain this type of Book.

Since I was little, I have been fascinated by this world and as I like to study, I started to do my studies on magic, ancient cultures, ancient practices that had been done for a long time. For this, I got a book to accompany me in my studies, my Book of Shadows. For those who have minimal knowledge of this topic, the Book of Shadows always accompanies us, serving as a study and reference book to help in practice. Putting notes, spells, experiences, and the book helps a lot in these aspects.

A very good thing is that a book can be passed from generation to generation, the studies can be saved in these pages and also consulted later. Personally, I don’t show it to anyone, but I’m sure it will pass from generation to generation for them to continue writing on its pages or continue another book of the same genre.

For those who are fans of the digital format, don’t despair because you can have your book of shadows on your computer. The format is not really important, what matters here is that you have a private place (either physical or digital book) to help you. My first BOS I tried to do it in digital format but I didn’t think it was the best way for me, so I tried it again in a physical book and it’s been ten years in this same mode.
