Why You Get Irritated When You’re In A Crowd

And how to recover positive energy quicker

Ever notice how short-tempered you get after you’ve been out for the day? You promise yourself day after day, you’ll make it easier. You won’t get all bent out of shape. The next day it happens again. And the next. So what can you do to change your propensity to go to the “dark side”?

It’s simple to give yourself more space

We’re energy-based beings. We interact with energy all the time. Good or bad. We will either attract or repel the energy. It doesn’t remain still. That’s why you can feel like you’re pushed and pulled all day long.

I’m sure you’ve heard that your energy goes from your core to 3’ out from you. When you’re in a crowd walking down a busy street or in a lineup, others energy crashes into yours. Don’t you find sometimes as you pass close by someone it makes you look at them? It could be a good feeling or a bad feeling. If it’s bad, it can give you a little jolt. That’s where we get the saying that person rubs me the wrong way. If it’s positive sometimes it makes you feel like a fresh breeze whooshed by you. Their energy is not a vibrational match to yours. If your energy is getting bombarded by others day in and day out, it’s no wonder you get frustrated.

Imagine you live in a small crowded apartment with 3 other people. You get up and get ready to rush out the door. Everyone is still asleep as you head out for your morning commute to work. There are people waiting to go on the elevator to begin their day. You cram into the elevator with 6 other people. Down to the ground floor and out you get. You head out the door and walk into a crowded street that’s already packed with others headed your way. You get to the subway station where you meet more people. You stay on until you get to your stop and get out to walk with more crowds to your work building. Then you head into another crowded elevator. Get off at the floor where you shuffle over to your tiny cubicle. There are other cubicles attached to yours. You sit within 3' of someone else, their energy rubs up with yours. If you’re working in a factory, the room pools the energy. It’s why your day can start off great and then take a dive.

Remember there are lots of people with ruffled feathers out there. We are getting touched by so many other balls of energy out there.

Ever wonder why people are so frazzled in big cities

People rush in a crowd. They’re thinking about things that have irritated them. Making them frustrated and as they go by you, they brush up against your energy. You pick up on their frustrations and now you’re frustrated too.

Their energy is a higher or lower vibration and it’s like putting a shock wave through you as they rush by you. Even when you’re driving down the road, think of how far apart we are in the vehicles. We’re still within 9’ of each other, yes their energy will brush through yours. Then you go home and need to settle down. It’s because you’ve been “handled” all day. So give yourself a break and relax so you’re ready for your next foray into civilization.

That’s why when you get home you feel anxiety-riddled and out of sorts. You need to relax and have some space.

How to clear negative energy from you

We can recover from excessive energy that we pick up through our day, in the following ways:

  • Have a shower. Having a shower will help to wash the bad energy off of you. The water will cleanse your energy.
  • Spend more time with people who are more positive. Positive people can help. Their positive energy will rub off on you.
  • Brush off your energy. When you brush the air around you, you actually knock the negative energy off of your aura. It’s simple but give it a try to see if it works for you. To do this you perform a sweeping motion from around the edge of your body to a distance of 3’. Do you feel lighter?
  • Slow down and breathe. Take the time to concentrate on your long slow breaths. It takes your mind off the stresses. Whether you’re standing at a bus stop or sitting in your car, do it when you can.
  • Use salt to get rid of negative energy. Put salt in small opened containers in four corners of your home. At work, leave it on your desktop. Salt will pick up the negative energy.
  • Exercise. Get out in nature, go for a walk or run. Exercise helps to release endorphins. They make you happier.
