That is because of a word you use

When the Australia-American documentary film — “the secret” was released, many who could not manifest their dreams became happy by the mere fact of watching it because of the revelation they had from it.

The documentary brought out some truths on how to manifest what you want by just believing in an outcome through repeated thinking of what you want and maintaining a positive emotional state to attract the result. And by the revelation, many people who could not manifest what they wanted, brought about those things by applying the principles. Those who wanted relationships, good health, financial wealth etc. all went on to manifest it and some people, still using the principles are able to manifest what they want.

But in spite of the message carried in the film, some people are not able to manifest what they want. And the reason is that these people have a word that is serving as a barrier before them and that word is — “BUT”.

I know it might sound strange to you because that word is a common word when it comes to the English language. Still, it is the reason why many people, despite the possession of the right knowledge and skill, cannot manifest what they want or achieve their dreams because on their tongues every day, is this word. And as it is said that, words are powerful and they are always shaping our reality, we cannot become that person we wish to become or achieve our dreams if we do not get that word — “but” out of our way.

Although in the film, certain principles that were revealed by the experts who starred in it required that, to manifest what you want, you do not only need the right mindset but the knowledge and the skillset as well.

So most people, because they do not have the knowledge and the skillset, downplay their beliefs in the achievement of what they want. But having the knowledge and the skillset is not sometimes the only key. Instead, the belief and you are good to go because manifesting what you want is mental and it starts from within. And to manifest what you want, these are the “keys, but most importantly, you must get your — “but” out of the way.

Focus on what you want instead of that which you do not want

“Focus more on your desire than on your doubt, and the dream will take care of itself “ — Mark Twain

Whenever we want something, and we focus on what we lack and why we cannot achieve that thing, we do a big disservice to ourselves and give our powers to that thing that we do not want instead of what we want.

And so, to manifest what we want, we must always focus all our energies on that which we want and must not think about what we do not want. And although to get certain things, the knowledge and the skillset of that thing is vital, but that is not entirely when it comes to manifestation. With manifestation, what is essential is the focus on what you want, which ignites the power and passion within to go for it irrespective of you having what it takes or not. “Where focus goes, energy flows” — Tony Robbins.

Believe you are worthy of achieving that which you want

“Man is what he believes” — Anton Chekhov

Getting your “but” of the way and achieving that dream irrespective of you, having what it takes or not requires, you believe you are deserving and worthy enough and have what it takes to achieve it.

Because the universe works in miraculous ways and even what we think we do not deserve or cannot have, the universe can make it possible for us. And this happens as a result of the universe not looking at the worldly definition of things before it gives us what we want. So the fact that you did not go to that college or university does not mean you cannot become or achieve that which you dream of and have that great life. It is all about believing you deserve it and can have it, and you are worthy enough for those things.

This is what paves the way for you to have what you want and not to believe that you can achieve that which you desire because of some lack somewhere is not the best way when it comes to manifestation. It is therefore required that you believe and be unflinching about your belief that the universe can make that possible for you.

Understand that you have power over the things of the world and not vice-versa

This is also another way of getting your “but” of the way and manifesting what you want. Knowing that you are one with the supreme force of the universe and, you have the power over the things in the world, puts everything under your control and when everything in the world is under your control, what is it that you cannot do, have or become. You can do, have, and become all that you want.

Take action and do things right.

“Action is the last resource of those who know not how to dream” — Oscar Wilde

The common denominator that differentiates those who achieve their dreams and those who do not is action.

Irrespective of having the knowledge or not, taking a step towards the fulfilment of the goal, is what makes the difference. And in taking action, if you always focus on the things that you do not have and you are still going about with the word “but” — which is the canceler of dreams in your mouth, then you will not launch then initiative than to talk of achieving it. Therefore, to manifest your desires requires acting but most importantly stopping to focus on what you lack and the use of the word “but”.

Understand that obstacles are part of the success game and time is what makes the difference.

“A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles” — Christopher Reeve

Obstacles are part of life. They are what reveal us to our real selves, and they will always be around as far as the world continues to exist.

In the pursuits of our dreams, therefore, we must be conscious of it and know that, when an obstacle comes our way, it is temporal. That, the obstacle is here to serve us and not to break us and avoid using the word “but” which always comes up with excuses of why we cannot achieve that which we want and continue pushing on and trusting the universe for our success. Out of the obstacles come our powers and strengths and greatness, and if we can have it in mind, we can manifest what we want. Brian Tracy, who is an author and a success coach, once said, “obstacles come to instruct us and not to obstruct us”. It is therefore essential to note that, whenever you are pursuing something, and you encounter obstacles, they come to serve you and not to destroy you.

So if you have been wondering why you have been doing everything it takes, yet you are not manifesting what you want, first, it is your mindset and second, your frequent use of the word “but”. And if you can stop using it and look at the various ways that you can use to manifest what you want and trust the universe, you will achieve that you want.
