Why X.com Social Media Platform Reign Supreme Over the Rest

Like it or not, Elon Musk has made the Internet a better place.

Less than a year after becoming the owner of the social media app, Elon Musk has made the entire social media space bend to his actions(copying his actions every step of the way) and its phenomenon.

As X.com is undergoing development to be the next “all-app” like WeChat, people around the world are having mixed feelings about his actions.

Listen to ME!

I bet you hate to pay that $11/ month. To be honest, I felt the same as well!

Elon's drastic methods to turn X.com profitable made it seem like the company would do whatever it took to milk the users of their money.

However, looking at where the platform is now as compared to other social media platforms, I’m starting to enjoy using social media.

Tell me, when was the last time you swiped down to the next content and have forgotten about the previous one already?

I never knew how many positive changes social media can have for me to enjoy using it.

What Social Media Was Like

In the past, I hated to share about my business on social media. The reach that businesses often get are scams and bots interfering with the business. I remember I had to combat 10 spam bots for every post that I posted on Instagram.

Social media isn’t catered towards businesses, rather, they were exclusively catered toward the trend of influencers. Some of them have over 80% of bots as their followers in order to get businesses to reach out to their “followers”.

Sadly, It’s common to hear all that and the ones that are losing out are usually the businesses that are trying to survive through organic growth.

As a business owner myself, I left social media 2 years ago because I hated how useless and mentally draining the app was for me. I wasn’t getting any inspiration to work hard and all I did was scrolling through random crap that isn’t relevant to what I would like to know more.

How Social Media Is Like Now

In 2022 when Elon took over Twitter, I knew getting in early would help my business grow organically. Elon stated in his early days in the X office that his no.1 goal for the social media app was to remove 100% of all bots.

He took less than 6 months to get it done.

While his quick thinking and action frightened many businesses, those who stayed with him actually reaped a lot of benefits.

No Bots to Annoy You

Now, whatever dollar you put into the app for advertising, X shows how much reach you have garnered. While lower than other platforms, it also means that your ads are being targeted at the right people.

Now that I use X for my social media needs, I found that I have been having fun and interactive with people and business owners who are generally interested in working with me.

Finding Real People

In the past on Instagram and on YouTube, I would never know whether I was talking to a bot or human. I hated how I always get spammed with bot messages promoting their crypto and other scams.

Intellectually Stimulating Reels

One key powerful stimulus that I enjoy from using X is how intellectually stimulated I was from watching reels.

Unlike other apps where reels are ranked based on viewership and likes. X works differently where they rank content based on how much interaction the reels have gotten and whether people take action after watching reels.

This means reels that produce useful and informative content would rank higher on X. Phew I will never have to look at stupid prank videos again!
