"Why Writing Is More Than Words: A Challenge for AI"
The reasons why human writers are still supreme

"Writing is the most human thing we can do. It’s how we express ourselves, connect with others, and leave a mark on the world." - Roxane Gay
Humans use writing as a vital means of expression and communication. It is a way to interact with people and develop relationships with them. We can communicate ideas and expertise by writing.
AI has advanced greatly in recent years. It has been adopted by people for a variety of causes. The primary threat posed by AI is to writers. AI can now answer any question you have in a matter of seconds. When compared to human writing, there are still some ways in which it is different.
AI lacks creativity
Based on a set of data, AI is programmed to adhere to a set of rules and algorithms. It answers our question based on the information it already has. It cannot produce truly original and distinct concepts that do not already exist in its database. On the other hand, being creative necessitates having fresh, original ideas. Large volumes of data can be analyzed by AI, but it lacks imagination and originality. Thus, while AI may have many advantages, creativity is a characteristic that only humans possess.
AI lacks emotional intelligence
Emotions are intricate and challenging to quantify. Humans can use their empathy, intuition, and past experiences to make decisions. We may tell stories that are relatable and appealing by drawing on our own experiences to explain difficult concepts. The audience finds these written pieces to be more engaging and relatable.
AI lacks experience and perspective
Throughout our lifetime, we experience a variety of things. Every experience offers a unique viewpoint. The readers may relate to and find articles that are distinctive since they are written from various points of view. AI can only write from stored information and data without context.
Additionally, writing is more than just words. It requires a variety of abilities, including originality, expression, editing, and offering a different viewpoint. Simply put, the reader doesn’t want to learn more about a certain topic. Making writing creative, expressive, and relatable to readers is the writer’s responsibility.
So keep writing and pour your heart out onto the page, writers.
