Why Would You Want to Know the Future?
The Present is More Important
My first thought about what psychics do, is to tell the future. At least, growing up, that’s what we thought. You know, the turban, the lighting coming up from the floor, the obligatory crystal ball. “I see a difficult road ahead. Do not put your trust in the hands of strangers.” “You will marry a tall, dark stranger.” Or “You are having trouble with money.”
Here’s what it’s really like. “I can sense loving spirits around you. They are not always at your side, but there is always someone there. Mostly, these are your guides, but many are people you knew and those of your bloodline you never knew because they passed before you were born. Some of them might have been hateful toward you when they were alive, but they had their reasons, and they love you now.”
“There are even some of the people who support you whom you do not know from this lifetime. They are from previous lifetimes. These are your friends and loved ones who go back generation upon generation.”
“Humankind is closely related to the trees, to the animals, to the oceans, to the mountains and desert. You are related to your co-worker, you know, the one who always takes too many breaks and thinks no one knows.”
“Think of your life as an adventure. It is one of many. It is not the most important one because every one of them is important, but it is the one you are having right now. Consider your dreamtime to be as valuable as your awake time. Harbor not resentment, because that can rob you of the joy at hand.”
“Spend good, think good, and do good. Think positive thoughts and strive for good intentions. In this way, you will be able to spread happiness and joy in places you never thought you would go.”
“Live not for the future. Instead, live in the here and now.”
These are the words that came as I closed my eyes. I received them, for the most part, which is what channeling is. The thing that comes from Spirit through me and onto the page was the message from this psychic. It might have been my guide, it might have been your Great Aunt Bebe.
Although it was not intended for you and you alone, it is my hope that it might have lightened your mood a little bit, that it might have helped you.
By the way, those who have passed need nothing. They are happy and do not wish for you to do anything other than live your life however you see fit. If you miss them, they can hear you. Write them a letter or have an imaginary conversation with them as you sit in the cool of your garden. And be aware that they can visit you in your dreams. Just say hi when you awaken in the morning.
Thank you for reading.
