Why we are escaping from stress?

Stress is rooted in fear, and it distinguishes humans from other aspects of nature. It serves as a fundamental motivator, even playing a pivotal role in the inception of language acquisition. Imaging our early ancestors living in caves, encountering with daily hazards that necessitated constant care. To navigate these hazards successfully, they relied on communication to alert and safeguard one another. The primitive noises they made in these moments evolved into the languages we use today.

It’s interesting to think of stress as something our ancestors needed to stay safe, yet today, many of us feel scared or stuck when we’re stressed. This seems strange, but it actually shows how deeply stress is tied to our history and how we’ve evolved.

I personally encountered with a lot of stress every day. specially when you relocate from your country to another country with completely different culture. I relocated from Iran to Armenia and from Armenia to Germany. You can imaging how much stressful is when you decide to walk in this way. Sometime I ask this question of my self if is really worth it? then again I look at my back and think about the experience I have gained during this journey. I believe that we all encountered with pain in our live but it is better to chose our pains ourself.

lets get back to the main question why we are escaping from stress? I think it is part of our nature and we have to accept it. Humans evolves during millions of years and we still have the genome from our ancestors. Our body can not make difference between attack of lion or fired from your job and make same reaction to both of them with feeling stress. That is why if you google how can I reduce stress then probably you will find thousand of articles that for sure taking 3 deep breath is in all of them.

How can we reduce our stress?

So next time that you feel stressed think of it as a nature reaction of your body and try to deep breath as much as you can after a short time you again can think of the moment and find a way to solve the source of your problem that made you stressed.

If you have stuck in the stressful situation and it needs your immediate reaction then sorry I can not help you, you have to trust your brain and its decisions. but If you have some time to react then I strongly recommend to bring a paper and pen and start writing down your situation by asking some questions like. what is the problem? What would be the worst scenario If I do the pan A or B? Is there any back up way? do you have any pane if your first plan fails? how can I reduce the loss? just keep writing let your brain be empty by writing down anything come to your mind.

I don’t know why but when we are not feeling alone then our stress tends to go down all by itself. so keep in your mind that you are not alone. According to studies, at least one in three Germans suffers from stress at work.
