Okay, here’s what you need to know about the Tarot, or Game of Life
“All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players. They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts.”
— William Shakespeare
Welcome to the game of life. Through the Tarot, you enter into divine communication with God. You are safe. You are protected. You are abundant.
Until you think and feel otherwise for days on end. There may be doubts. Momentum builds up. Then your life will feel like you are trying to go upstream without a paddle.
AND THEN…
You turn to the flow of the stream. You find out that this in itself aligns all other things. Like some miracle. And there was a reason for it: it was to introduce you to the infinite cycle of life. The big kahuna. And you have the Tarot to thank for it.
Example of an Immortal Type 15-card draw with 16th card on the bottom of the deck. This is a non-traditional way of playing, but it works for storyboard writing. And writing novels. Photo by author. Mind of Humanity cards shown on the top are illustrated by George Sellas.
“There is no momentum with distorted or negative thoughts when you first wake up. Use this time to launch your rockets of desire.” — Abraham Hicks
In this game, when you draw cards, it is like a new day. Each day is like a new videogame level, or an updated version of the same one, constantly updating — as they are a result of our own thoughts, feelings, and convictions.
In this game of life our thoughts lead to synchronized events, and there is a reason why there is a console, and God Mode, and it is to make sure that anyone playing the Game of Life has the option to get out of the level they are in, free of charge, with no issues at all, so that the game may progress in a way that is enjoyable. This requires picking up the controller and mastering it.
The videogame controller is thought. Your haptic sensory experience just enhances the levels as you go along. They become more rich as your relationship with God (your self in peak experience) deepens.
“Man receives only that which he gives. The Game of Life is a game of boomerangs. Man’s thoughts, deeds and words, return to him sooner or later, with astounding accuracy.” — Florence Scovel Shinn, The Game of Life and How to Play It.
Oh forget all that spiritual stuff — just remember: what you think makes you into whatever the hell you want to become. It makes me out to be The Fool a lot of the time. It makes others into hierophants. Others become devils. Some think they own the world.
Some simply accept a role as one of the minor arcana. It’s all part of the same game. The game where the controller is always in your hands. Doesn’t mean that people play the game. Most folks with a cell phone addiction are playing a game that is a repetitive feedback loop that melts the brain over time.
You navigate the Tarot to increase this power. To build resistance, and ultimately learn how to let go (aka. seppuku). To release and surrender to powers that are greater than your body. Obviously. Or else how else could someone like Robert Hamburger swallow a frisbee successfully and live?
Those that recognize this truth with thought see all as One. All the ridiculousness, all the foolish rants, all the complaining, all the humor, all the pain and suffering, all the hope, and all the love, yes LOVE just keeps rewriting over the bad stuff on our hard drives. LOVE keeps the firmware up to date, and LOVE keeps the chassis looking nice, and all the hardware inside the box stays at an even temperature, and performs great.
Thought empowers self and others, as the Tarot becomes a very useful tool. It shows all the possibilities, all paths. It makes suggestions and you can clarify if needed, as many times as you need, the cards will keep arriving until it is hammered into your dopamine-stricken brain until the message sinks in.
The Tarot is already invested in you
People have asked me if I have done spellwork. What I say now is — Everyone is casting spells every single moment of their lives, as they entertain thoughts and feelings. The difference between many people and myself is that I am aware that I keep casting them with my thoughts. Many aren’t aware. I want them to be.
Demonstrate the power of thought early on so children avoid suffering
If you don’t believe, at least it’s a formula for being a decent human being to yourself and others. That’s not such a bad thing. Instill the power of thought in your children and they will live peaceful lives. They will not want to be in bad situations and will avoid and reject them as the thoughts and feelings arrive. They will become part of the Major Arcana cycle, which leads to mastery over life. Mastery over the elements.
In this way, through seeing the consequences of our thoughts, feelings, actions, and use of intellect, the Minor Arcana of the Tarot represents the core elements: earth (coins), water (cups), fire (wands), and wind (swords).
Tarot supports the process of bringing awareness to the self through our interaction with nature
There is a process of seed to harvest with each Tarot drawing where the querent (the one receiving the reading) is presented with an adventure, where the cards depict who you run into. Each story is different.
In this way the Tarot shatters writer’s block. Even if the story feels mundane, it is told by the Tarot, and it aligns you with the source of creation so you can flow.
