Why the Fight of Faith (5 of 5): To reign as Kings & Priests on earth.
We are called to reign as Kings and Priests here on earth.
1. We are created in the image of God.
We are a prototype of God.
You are in the class of God.
You are created in the image and likeness of GOD. You are a god!
“Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” (Genesis 1:26–27 NKJV)
It does not matter your present circumstances or degree of wholeness or brokenness.
You are created in the image and likeness of God. Whether it looks like it or not! You are a god!
We are gods, and the children of the Most High … we are not to live like mere men.
“I said, “You are gods, And all of you are children of the Most High. But you shall die like men, And fall like one of the princes.” (Psalms 82:6–7 NKJV)
2. Who are Kings & Priests?
Kings… have domains and authorities.
According to Bible dictionary, King is in Scripture very generally used to denote one invested with authority, whether extensive or limited. (www.biblestudytools.com/dictionary/king)
Kings have domains (possessions), and Authority over such domains.
Your health, family, marriage, finances, career, business and vocations are domains you can reign as Kings.
Priests…hear God and do the will of God per season.
According to Wikipedia, A priest is a religious leader authorized to perform the sacred rituals of a religion, especially as a mediatory agent between humans and one or more deities. They also have the authority or power to administer religious rites; in particular, rites of sacrifice to, and propitiation of, a deity or deities. (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Priest)
Priests are the representatives of God on the earth. When you see a Priest, you see God.
As believers, we are been made to be kings and priests unto our God the Father.
“and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” (Revelation 1:6 NKJV)
“And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.” (Revelation 5:10 NKJV)
Christians therefore, can manifest the attributes of God in righteousness and holiness by Christ Jesus. We are expected to live above sins, oppressions, additions, and all the ‘common weaknesses’ associated with this end time.
“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21 NKJV)
3. The enemy will not hands off you easily without a fight.
Your Domain is your possessions in good health, family, marriage, finances, business, career breakthroughs and success.
Your Priesthood is the manifestation of righteous living, accessing the Will of God per time, working signs and wonders in your life, holiness, sinlessness, deliverance from oppression (such as addictions, identity confusions, sexual immoralities, perversions, evil deeds).
The enemy will not hands off what rightfully belongs to you, without a fight.
This is why we are to engage in the fight of faith…
“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. (I Timothy 6:12 NKJV)
Fighting the good fight of faith is insisting that what God has said concerning us is final authority. Ensuring that there is a manifestation of the word of God in every area of our lives. Giving no place for the enemy in our lives.
Nor give place to the devil. (Ephesians 4:27 NKJV).
My dear friend, when will be the right time to reign as Kings and Priests unto God the Father.
Behold, we are for signs and wonders on this earth!
“Here am I and the children whom the LORD has given me! We are for signs and wonders in Israel From the LORD of hosts, Who dwells in Mount Zion.” (Isaiah 8:18 NKJV)
Why the Fight of Faith.
1. To give God all the Glory.
2. To elongate the reign of Christ.
3. Faith is the language of the Kingdom of Christ.
4. To possess your possessions… Faith is the currency of the Kingdom.
5. To reign as Kings and Priests on earth.
‘And have made us Kings and Priests to our God; And we shall reign on the earth.’ (Revelation 5:10)
The Fight of Faith. Why the Fight of Faith. Are you in this fight today. Are you winning in this good fight of Faith.
Your Faith is overcoming the world… Therefore, fight the good fight of Faith in that area of concern in your life.
