Why Should We Learn Python?

What is Python?
Python is one of the most popular and frequently used high-level programming languages, have been created by Guido van Rossum in the late 1980s. It allows programmers to develop apps quickly by providing readability and simplicity in the code.
Why Python is a Popular Programming Language?
The stack overflow research shows that the popularity of Python as a programming language is increasing day by day. The graph depicts the popularity of several programming languages, with Python being the most popular. We can also observe from the graph that Python’s popularity has risen considerably since 2016, and it continues to rise.
Why python’s popularity has soared to new heights? There are two key reasons, in my opinion. Let’s take a look at why Python is becoming so popular among programmers and researchers.
The first reason is that it is simple, which is its most enticing aspect, making it an ideal programming language to learn for novices. It is one of the most user-friendly programming languages for rapid prototyping. As a result, Python is employed by both small and large businesses. I’m not surprised that Python is used by Google, Facebook, NASA, Amazon, YouTube, and Netflix to develop different applications.
Another reason for Python’s prominence is the proliferation of Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL), which are the most intriguing words these days. As a result, a large community has formed focusing on these areas of research. Python is the preferred programming language for most developers and researchers in these fields for developing new applications and algorithms. As a result, the popularity and use of Python have grown dramatically since 2012, as we all know, deep learning’s meteoric success began in 2012.
Why do we need to learn Python?
We have already seen that there is a relationship between the popularity of Python and the dramatic success of deep learning. Let’s look at why we should learn Python.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the new electricity to transform our lives, and machine learning and deep learning are the fuel of AI. AI has already exhibited incredible delicacy in a variety of areas, from space exploration to protein folding issues. According to many computer experts, machine learning and deep learning will transform the way the world works. Machine learning and deep learning will be investigated in almost every industry in a few years.
To be experts in ML and DL, we need coding skills. We need good coding abilities for data processing, parameter tuning, and model optimization to develop machine learning or deep learning algorithms.
TensorFlow (developed by Google) and PyTorch (developed by Facebook) are widely used by ML and DL developers and researchers. TensorFlow and PyTorch are both Python-based deep learning frameworks that are utilized in a variety of industries.
We need to learn Python if we want to enter into the world of machine learning and deep learning, where we will be able to develop fascinating applications. Even though there are various Python alternatives, Python is the most suitable way since we have a large community in our machine learning and deep learning journey.
