The other day, I was talking with my husband about the future of our jobs.
I’m a marketing manager in healthcare and my husband is a software developer.

She needs to know it. She is teaching AI Product Management on Maven and at Harvard.
In fact, my husband also told me that in his field, there’s a new job on the rise called “prompt engineering” that’s making waves in the AI world.

1 Learn the Fundamentals of AI and Machine Learning: Start by understanding the basics of AI and machine learning, like how AI models learn and improve over time. You can take a course on Udemy, for instance.
2 Get Familiar with Natural Language Processing (NLP): NLP is all about how AI models understand and generate text. Get to know the latest NLP techniques and tools!
3 Find a Mentor or Join a Community: Connect with others who share your interests, and learn from their experiences in prompt engineering. Promptstacks is a community of 17,000 learners.
4 Practice, Practice, Practice: Keep trying different prompts and AI models, and learn from your experiments. You don’t need a tech degree for this. In my field, as a marketing manager, I also practice a lot to become a better prompter.
