Why must we sabotage the child-like joy that another receives
from a stage that may feel out of your reach a source of dismay
why must we crush and distort each very thought
that you too, can find home in every lost crevice make a bed in every soft mould

See it as not a yearning to become more but a knowing to embody that which already resides.
