Why Jennifer Aniston Won’t be Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom’s Daughter’s Godmother
In a world where all we hear about is pandemic this and Coronavirus that, we finally had something to get excited about and then, poof! It wisped away like it was a rumor or something.
It looks like baby “Kicky Perry” is sans godmother for now and we are all the worse off for it. Last night the rumor that has us all thinking that perhaps 2020 wasn’t a complete throw away year dissipated like a rumpled newspaper in the wind.
One might think a reputable daily news source like The Mirror would do a bit of fact checking before titillating our rumor mills about something as critical as a power-thrupling of such magnitude. Yet, here they are toying with us only 10 days ago with the news that Aniston cried when she heard the news of her godmother status.
Ever since back in March, when Perry unveiled her pregnancy of her first child with Orlando Bloom in this revealing video, the world has waited to meet Kicky Perry and see the young, surely aspiring new starlet:
While such things might just be “fun rumors” to the social elite, the rest of us can only wait until the fateful fact checking is all complete before we get to celebrate any potential shining moments.
Well, thankfully we have plenty to keep our minds on these days, but wouldn’t it be nice if some of it was positive, if not overly fluffy? In many ways we all need a bit of fluffy now and again to keep the world in perspective, if nothing else.
I am sure Kicky will do just fine without Aniston as godmother, but it would be kind of a fun nod to the friendship the couple shares with Aniston. Besides, she is an experienced godmother, serving faithfully in the role for many years now to Courtney Cox’s daughter Coco.
Personally, I can’t wait until the day where such news is taking up the headlines in the New York Times because there isn’t a worldwide depressed economy, a major pandemic, or a bunch of crooks manipulating politics.
It is probably too much to hope for, but come on Katy and Orlando; couldn’t you just have let us all have this one?
